PROGRAMME OF WEDNESDAY WALKS
We always meet at the Cuckoo Trail Car Park off South Road at 9:15 for a 9:30 start.
- Although walking is one of the safest activities, we expect walkers to behave responsibly and to comply with any instructions or advice given by our walk leaders.
- All walkers should wear boots or stout shoes and bring something to drink, which is especially important in the summer months.
- It is recommended that members should carry their own first aid kit and Hailsham Ramblers Membership card with emergency contact details on the back.
- Our shorter walks are usually about 2 - 3 miles in length, whilst the longer walks of 4 - 6 miles can involve negotiating steep inclines and stiles.
- The intermediate walks are 3 - 4 miles long and do not run in the winter. These walks always include refreshments at the end of the walk at a pub or restaurant near to where we have parked.
- The grid reference is the walk starting point.
- Please inform the walk leader if you intend to meet the group at the start of the walk instead of meeting at the Cuckoo Trail Car Park off South Road, as changes may have been made.
- Our Membership Secretary Joan Guile may be contacted on 01323 449256. Our email address is: hailshamramblers@gmail.com
