Our Monthly Coffee Morning at Hops and Grounds in St Mary's Walk, Hailsham. Meet at 10:30 on the first Thursday of the month. That's Thursday 7th May, Thursday 4th June and Thursday 2nd July etc. Great coffee and lots of chat. See you there!
Hailsham Ramblers' Summer Lunch on Wednesday 24th June at The Green Man, Ringmer, at 12noon for 12:30pm. As before, everyone will order and pay for their own food on the day. If you wish to attend, let Jacky know by 17th June. There will be a short walk beforehand, for those who would like to take part. See details in the Walks Programme. DAY TRIP to Hole Park Gardens on Thursday 23rd July. Close to the border of East Sussex and Kent, Hole Park gardens are renowned for their seasonal displays set within 200 acres of classic parkland, surrounded by beautiful far-reaching views of the Wealden landscape. DAY TRIP to Borde Hill Gardens on Thursday 3rd September. Borde Hill is a 2,300-acre Estate near Haywards Heath in West Sussex, owned by the Stephenson Clarke Family for 130 years (1893-2023). Thirteen stunning ‘Garden rooms’ surround the House with Grade-II listed heritage Parkland and ancient Woodland beyond. The backcloth of the wider estate is made up of many native and exotic champion trees and open farmland. Price of trip £29.75.
